Res gestae
Res gestae (res gestæ) — латинский термин, означающий «деяния», иногда переводившийся как «история» (история в смысле совокупности фактов прошлого[1]). Использовался в названии следующих сочинений античных и средневековых авторов, писавших на латыни:
- «Res gestae» (I век до н. э.) — хроника древнеримского военного и историка Семпрония Азеллиона.
- «Res gestae divi Augusti» (I век) — статистический очерк Римской империи и перечень своих деяний, своеобразное политическое завещание императора Августа.
- «Res gestae» (конец IV века) — акефалическая книга «Деяния в тридцати одной книге» историка Аммиана Марцеллина.
- «Res gestae saxonicae» (конец X века) — история саксов и королей саксонской династии монаха Видукинда Корвейского .
