Basi është zëri më i ulët për meshkujt. Zakonisht vokali i një basi shtrihet nga Mi e dytë para Do së mesit deri në Fa #(diezis) sipër saj, por kjo mund të ndryshojë nga personi ne person. Basi është klasifikimi më i rrallë i zërit i mundshëm që shpjegon faktin pse përdoret kaq pak në kompozime. Këngëtarët që këndojnë basin janë zakonisht më të vjetër në moshë për të mundësuar pjekurinë dhe volumin e notave më të ulta. Disa shembuj të këngëtarëve që këndojnë basin janë Tim_Storms,J.D.Sumner etj.
