Deti Chukchi

Harta që tregon vendndodhjen e detit Chukchi.

Deti Chukchi i referuar ndonjëherë si Deti Chuuk, Deti Chukotsk[1] ose Deti i Chukotskut[2] (rusisht: Chukótskoye móre), është një det margjinal i Oqeanit Arktik. Kufizohet në perëndim nga ngushtica e gjatë, jashtë ishullit Wrangel, dhe në lindje nga Point Barrow, Alaska, përtej së cilës shtrihet Deti Beaufort. Ngushtica e Beringut formon kufirin e saj më jugor dhe e lidh atë me Detin e Beringut dhe Oqeanin Paqësor. Porti kryesor në detin Chukchi është Uelen në Rusi. Linja Ndërkombëtare e Datave kalon Detin Chukchi nga veriperëndimi në juglindje. Është zhvendosur në drejtim të lindjes për të shmangur ishullin Wrangel si dhe Okrug Autonome Chukotka në kontinentin rus.
