Ericsson

Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (fjalë e drejtpërdrejtë 'Shoqëria Aksionare Telefonike e LM Ericsson'), e njohur zakonisht si Ericsson, është një kompani shumëkombëshe suedeze e rrjeteve dhe telekomunikimeve me seli në Stokholm, Suedi. Ericsson ka qenë një kontribues i madh në zhvillimin e industrisë së telekomunikacionit dhe është një nga liderët në 5G. Ericsson ka mbi 57,000 patenta të dhëna dhe është shpikësi i teknologjisë Bluetooth.[1]

Kompania shet infrastrukturë, softuer dhe shërbime në teknologjinë e informacionit dhe komunikimit për ofruesit e shërbimeve të telekomunikacionit dhe ndërmarrjet, duke përfshirë, ndër të tjera, pajisje celulare 4G dhe 5G, dhe sisteme të Protokollit të Internetit (IP) dhe transportit optik. Kompania u themelua në vitin 1876 nga Lars Magnus Ericsson dhe kontrollohet bashkërisht nga familja Wallenberg nëpërmjet kompanisë së saj holding Investor AB dhe bankës universale Handelsbanken nëpërmjet kompanisë së saj të investimeve Industrivärden. Familja Wallenberg dhe sfera e Handelsbanken fituan aksionet e tyre A me të drejtë vote, dhe kështu kontrollin e Ericsson, pas rënies së perandorisë Kreuger në fillim të viteve 1930.[2][3]
