GIMP

GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) është një program manipulimi imazhesh i publikuar nën versionet e licenses LGPLv3 dhe më vonë si softuer i lirë dhe me burim kodi të hapur. Ka versione të përshtatura për shumicën e sistemeve operative, duke përfshirë Linux, OS X dhe Microsoft Windows. GIMP është ideal për fotomontazhe, redaktime imazhesh, forma vizatimore, ndryshime, konvertime në formate të ndyshme etj. Animacionet të tipit GIF dhe fotografi të formatit MPEG mund të krijohen me përdorimin e një shtojce (plugin) specifike. GIMP konsiderohet si alternativa me e mirë dhe e plotë open source e programit komercial Photoshop[1] të prodhuar nga kompania Adobe.
