Kaur
Kaúri ose Kauri ishte emër përbuzës me të cilin u drejtohej të pabesëve, të pafeve, paganëve dhe armiqve të atdheut. Në disa vise përdorej për t'iu drejtuar jomyslimanëve. Kaur hyri në gjuhën shqipe nga turqishtja osmane gâvur, e marrë nga persishtja gebr (گبر) e cila qe përdorur në lashtësi me kuptimin zjarradhurues, për ithtarët e Zoroastrës në Persi.[1]
Gjatë Tanzimatit (1856-1876), përdorimi nga myslimanët për jomyslimanët (qafirat) u ndalua në Perandorinë Osmane për të parandaluar fyerjet fetare në marrëdhëniet shoqërore.[2]
