Muscat (Arabisht: مسقط) është kryeqyteti i Omanit. Sipas shtatorit 2015, popullsia e qytetit ka arritur deri në 1.56 milionë banorë.

Gjeografia

Muscat ndodhet në verilindje së Omanit. Kufizohet me rajonin Al Batinah në perëndim dhe me rajonin Ash Sharqiyah në lindje.

Klima

Muscat ka klimë shkretëtire verë të gjatë dhe të nxehtë dhe me dimër të nxehtë. Temperaturat gjatë verës mund të arrijnë deri në 40 °C.

Demografia

Sipas regjistrimit të vitit 2003, Muscat ka pasur mbi 630,000 banorë përfshirë 370,000 meshkuj dhe 260,000 femra.
