Molla (Malus domestica) është një bimë frutore që i përket familjes Rosaceae. është një nga bimët e kultivuara frutore më të njohura.
Përshkrimi
Molla është një pemë e vogël gjetherënëse 5-12m e gjatë, me një kurorë të dendur dhe të gjerë dhe sistem rrënjor të cekët.
Gjethet janë të alternuara, të thjeshta, ovale, pak të dhëmbëzuara, që fillojnë të rrumbullakta tek bishti dhe përfundojnë me majë. Ato janë 5-12cm të gjata dhe 3-6cm të gjera, të lëmuara sipër dhe me push poshtë. Bisht i gjethes është 2-5cm.
Lulet janë hermafrodite të bardha me nuancë rozë që zbehet gradualisht, me pesë petale dhe 2,5-3,5cm. Ata çelin në tufa prej 3-7 lulesh. Lulëzimi zhvillohet në pranverë, në të njëjtën kohë me sythat. Pllenimi bëhet nëpërmjet insekteve.
