Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. (lindur në 18 tetor 1979) i njohur me emrin e artit Ne-Yo, është një tekstshkrues amerikan i muzikës pop dhe R&B, prodhues i muzikës dhe kërcimtar. Karrierën e tij e filloj si tekstshkrues të këngës "Let me love you" kënduar nga Mario.
Në vitin 2006 realizon albumin e tij të parë "In My Own Words", ku me këngën "So Sick" zë vendin e parë Shtetet e Bashkuara. Këngët që pasuan ishin Because of You, Closer, Mad, Miss independent, etj.
Në 2010 Ne-Yo nxjerr në treg albumin e 4. Bashkëpunime ka pasur me Rihanën, Beyonce, Leona Lewis, Alexandra Burke, Sugarbabes etj.
Në 2009, billboardet amerikane e kanë renditur atë si artistin e 57 më të mirin e vitit.
