Puma (Puma concolor), ndryshe i njohur në zonat native si luani i malit, pantera apo kugari, është një gjitar i familjes Felidae, me shtrirje në Amerikën Jugore e Veriore. Kjo mace e madhe ka shtrirjen më të madhe[2] nga të gjithë gjitarët e egër në hemisferën perëndimore[3], duke u shtrirë nga Yukon në Canada deri në jug të Andes në Amerikën Jugore. Është macja e dytë më e rëndë në dy kontinentet Amerikane, pas jaguarit.
