Homotetramer

Homotetramerni kompleks, beta-glukuronidaza (glikozidaza). Svaka podjedinica ima istu aminokiselinsku sekvencu.

Homotetramer je proteinski kompleks koji se sastoji od četiri identične podjedinice koje su nekovalentno vezane.[1] Heterotetramer je analogni kompleks sa četiri podjedinice koje se reazlikuji.[2]

Primeri homotetramera su: enzimi poput beta-glukuronidaze (na slici); eksportni faktori kao što je SecB iz Ešerihije koli[3] i jonski transporteri magnezijuma, npr. CorA.[4]
