DNK topoizomeraza 3-alfa je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran TOP3A genom.[4][5]

Funkcija

Ovaj gen kodira DNK topoizomerazu, enzim koji kontroliše i menja topološka stanja DNK tokom transkripcije. Ovaj enzim katalizjje prolazno prekidanje i ponovno spajanje pojedinačnih lanaca DNK što omogućava lancima da prođu jedan kroz drugi, čime se redukuje broj supernamotaja i menja se topologija DNK. Ovaj enzim formira kompleks sa BLM koji učestvuje u regulaciji rekombinacije somatskih ćelija.[5]

Interaktcije

Pokazano je da TOP3A formira interakcije sa proteinom sindroma cvetanja.[6][7][8][9]
