Array

Sa agham pangkompyuter, ang array ay tumutukoy sa kalipunan o koleksiyon ng mga elemento na maaaring tumukoy sa mga halaga o baryable na ang bawat isa ay matutukoy gamit ang isang indeks. Ang array ay iniimbak upang ang mga posisyon ng bawat elemento ay makukwenta mula sa indeks tuple sa pamamagitan ng isang matematikal na pormula. Halimbawa, ang array ng 10 baryableng integer na may mga indeks na 0 hanggang 9 ay maaaring iimbak (stored) sa address ng memorya na 2000, 2004, 2008, … 2036, upang ang elementong may indeks na i ay may address na 2000 + 4 × i.
