Ang Capalbio ay isang komuna (munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Grosseto sa rehiyon ng Toscana ng Italya, na matatagpuan mga 150 kilometro (93 mi) timog ng Florencia at mga 45 kilometro (28 mi) timog-silangan ng Grosseto. May hangganan ang Capalbio sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Manciano, Montalto di Castro, at Orbetello.

Kasaysayan

Ang pangalan ay malamang na nagmula sa Latin Caput Album o Campus Albus (Puting Cabo o Kapatagan, ayon sa pagkakabanggit), dahil sa puting alabastro na bato na hinukay sa lugar.

Naging bahagi ito ng Kaharian ng Italya noong 1860, naging isang malayang comune noong 1960.
