Ang Dead History ay isang pamilya ng tipo ng titik na sinisiyasat ang pagsasama ng mga pangkayariang mga elemento ng parehong heometrikong sans-serif at serif na Didone na pamilya ng tipo ng titik. Dinisenyo noong 1990 ni P. Scott Makela, nakalisensya ito sa Emigre.
Lumilipat ang mga guhit ng mula sa hindi naka-saklong at magkakaibang mga haba ng guhit sa kaliwa ng mga karakter hanggang sa sans-serif na may bigat na mono kasama ang malambot at bilugang mga terminal sa kanan. Ang pamilya ng tipo ng titik ni Max Kisman na nilikha noong 1991 na FF Fudoni, ay pagsasama ng mga elemento ng Futura at Bodoni na isang katulad na pagsisiyasat.
