Free Software Foundation
Ang Free Software Foundation (FSF) ay isang di-kumikitang samahan na tinatag noong Oktubre 1985 ni Richard Stallman upang suportahan ang kilusang malayang software (libre na nangangahulugang kalayaan), at partikular ang proyektong GNU.
Ang FSF ang pangunahing organisasyon na nag-iisponsor ng Proyektong GNU. Ang FSF ay tumatanggap ng napakaliit na pampondo mula sa mga korporasyon o mga foundation na nagbibigay-gawad. Umaasa sila sa mga suporta ng mga taong na sumusuporta sa misyon ng FSF na mapanatili, maprotektahan at maisulong ang kalayaan na gamitin, pag-aralan, kopyahin, modipikahin at muling maipamahagi ang software ng kompyuter, at maipagtanggol ang mga karapatan ng mga gumagamit ng Malayang Software.
Pangulo at ama nito si Richard Stallman at si Peter Brown ang tagaganap na patnugot.
