Ang Gropparello (Piacentino: Gruparél) ay isang comune (komuna o munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Plasencia sa rehiyon ng Emilia-Romaña, hilagang Italya, na matatagpuan mga 130 kilometro (81 mi) hilagang-kanluran ng Bolonia at mga 25 kilometro (16 mi) timog ng Plasencia.

Ang teritoryo ng munisipalidad ay nasa pagitan ng 175 at 1,099 metro (574 at 3,606 tal) sa itaas ng antas ng dagat. Ang altimetric span ay mga 924 metro (3,031 tal) .

Ang Gropparello ay may hangganan sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Bettola, Carpaneto Piacentino, Lugagnano Val d'Arda, Morfasso, Ponte dell'Olio, at San Giorgio Piacentino.

Kabilang sa mga tanawin ang Kastilyo ng Montechino.

Pinagmulan ng pangalan

Ang orihinal na lokalidad ay ipinahiwatig sa pangalan ng Latin na pinagmulang Cagnano na tumutukoy sa kuta at bayan; ang pangalang Gropparello, na nagpapahiwatig ng buong teritoryo ng munisipyo, ay nagmula sa halip na sa Lombardong Groppo na nagpapahiwatig ng bulubunduking pormasyon na may bilugan na hugis. Ang toponimo na Cagnano sa wakas ay napunta sa hindi paggamit bago ang katapusan ng ika-19 na siglo.[4]
