Si Kapitan James Cook, FRS (Oktubre 27, 1728 (O.S.) – Pebrero 14, 1779) ay isang Ingles na eksplorador, nabigador at tagagawa ng mga mapa. Nagkaroon siya ng tatlong paglalakbay sa Karagatang Pasipiko, na tumpak na natutukoy ang maraming mga lugar at tinatala ang ilang mga pulo at baybayin sa mapa ng Europa sa unang pagkakataon. Isa sa kanyang mga kilalang nagawa ang pagkatuklas ng Briton sa silangang pamapang ng Australia; ang pagtuklas ng Europa sa mga pulo ng Hawaii; at unang sirkumnabigasyon at pagmamapa sa Newfoundland at New Zealand.
