Si James Mill (Abril 6 1773 – Hunyo 23 1836) ay isang historyador, teorikong pampolitika, at pilosopo. Siya ang nagtatag ng klasikong ekonomika, kasama si David Ricardo,[2] at siya ang ama ni John Stuart Mill, ang pilosopo ng liberalismo. Ang kaniyang maimpluwensiyang "History of British India" ay naglalaman ng tahasang pagsasakdal at pagtatakwil ng kultura at sibilisasyong Indiano.
