Kevin

Ang Kevin ( /ˈkɛvᵻn/) ay ang anglikanisadong anyo ng Irlandes na panlalaking binigay na pangalan na Caoimhín (Bigkas sa Irlandes: [ˈkiːvʲiːnʲ]; Middle Irish: Caoimhghín [ˈkəiṽʲʝiːnʲ]; Old Irish: Cóemgein [ˈkoiṽʲɣʲinʲ]; ang ni-Latin ay Coemgenus). Binubuo ito ng caomh "sinisinta; marangal";[1] Lumang Irlandes na cóem at -gin ("kapanganakan"; Lumang Irlandes gein).[2]

Ang baryanteng Kevan ay ang anglikanisado mula sa Caoimheán, isang maliit na anyong Irlandes.[3] Ang pambabaeng bersyon ng pangalan ay Caoimhe (anglikanisado bilang Keeva o Kweeva).
