Ang Simala (Sardinia: Sìmaba) ay isang comune (komuna o munisipalidad) sa Lalawigan ng Oristano, rehiyon ng Cerdeña, Italya, na matatagpuan mga 60 kilometro (37 mi) hilagang-kanluran ng Cagliari at mga 30 kilometro (19 mi) timog-silangan ng Oristano.

Ang Simala ay may hangganan sa mga sumusunod na munisipalidad: Baressa, Curcuris, Gonnoscodina, Gonnosnò, Masullas, at Pompu.

Kasaysayan

Ang lugar ay pinaninirahan sa panahon ng Nurahiko at Romano, dahil sa pagkakaroon ng ilang ebidensiyang arkeolohiko sa teritoryo.

Noong Gitnang Kapanahunan ito ay kabilang sa Husgado ng Arborea at bahagi ng curatoria ng Parte Montis. Sa pagbagsak ng Husgado (1420) ito ay naging bahagi ng Markesado ng Oristano, at sa tiyak na pagkatalo ng mga Arborense (1478) pumasa ito sa ilalim ng pamamahala ng Aragones at isinama sa Incontrada ng Parte Montis, na naging isang fief ng konde ng Carroz ng Quirra. Noong 1603 ito ay isinama sa Markesado ng Quirra, isang kabilugan muna ng Centelles at pagkatapos ay ng Osorio de la Cueva, kung saan ito tinubos noong 1839, sa pagsupil sa sistemang piyudal.
