Sochi

Sochi (Ruso: Сочи) ay isang ilog na kumakatawan sa isang daluyan ng tubig na matatagpuan sa Krasnodar Krai, Rusya. Ang ilog ay nagmumula sa katimugang mga dalisdis ng Bulubundukin ng Kaukasya, partikular sa Bundok Bolshaya Shura, sa tinatayang altitud na 2250 metro sa ibabaw ng antas ng dagat. Ang haba ng Ilog Sochi ay 45 kilometro, na may sukat ng watershed area na 296 kilometro kuwadrado. Ang katamtamang discharge ng tubig malapit sa istasyon ng pagsukat sa Plastunka ay umaabot sa 15.6 metro kubiko bawat segundo.[1]

Ang ilog ay may katangian ng mabilis na agos at nailalarawan sa pamamagitan ng isang binibigkas na flash flood na rehimen ng tubig, na kadalasang sanhi ng matinding pag-ulan sa rehiyon.
