Microphor là một chi ruồi thuộc phân họ Microphorinae, họ Dolichopodidae.

Các loài

Chi này hiện có ít nhất 16 loài còn hiện hữu được mô tả; trong đó gồm 9 loài ở giới Cổ Bắc, 5 loài ở giới Tân Bắc và 1 loài ở Đông Dương. Ngoài ra, giới phân loại còn ghi nhận 3 loài hóa thạch đã được mô tả. Một số loài chưa được mô tả cũng được tìm thấy tại khu vực bán Địa Trung Hải thuộc châu Âu và Thổ Nhĩ Kỳ, cùng 1 loài chưa mô tả ở giới Tân Nhiệt đới. Riêng loài Microphor hiemalis ở vùng Australasia dù từng được xếp vào chi này, nhưng nhiều khả năng không cùng chi và thậm chí có thể không thuộc phân họ Microphorinae.[2][3][4]
