Monopterus là một chi gồm các loài lươn đầm lầy đặc hữu châu Á thuộc họ Lươn. Chi này có một loài M. boueti đặc hữu châu Phi. Hai loài, M. eapeni và M. roseni, sinh sống trong hang động.
