Nepticuloidea là một liên họ côn trùng bao gồm các loài bướm đêm Monotrysia rất nhỏ đặc trưng bởi các màng che mắt (eyecap) nhỏ hoặc lớn phía trên mắt kép. Liên họ này có 2 họ, họ Nepticulidae có 12 chi phân bố khắp thế giới và thường là sâu vẽ bùa. Họ còn lại là Opostegidae, họ này cũng phân bố trên toàn cầu nhưng chỉ có 7 chi và số loài bằng khoảng một phần chín, sinh học của họ này ít được biết đến hơn (Davis, 1999).
