Simuliini là một tông ruồi đen bao gồm các loài ruồi lớn phân bố chủ yếu trong chi Simulium. Có 19 chi ruồi còn sống và 3 chi tuyệt chủng gặp trong các mẫu hóa thạch kỷ Creta.[1]
