Kempten (en alemán Kempten, en suabio Kempte im Allgai) ye una ciudat independient situada en o estau federau de Bavera. De conchunta con Espira, Worms, Treveris, Colonia y Augsburgo, Kempten ye una d'as ciudaz mas antigas d'Alemanya. A historia de Kempten se remonta a lo menos a la epoca d'a conquiesta romana d'os Alpes arredol de l'anyo 15 a. de C.[1]
