L'abellerol de Persia[1] u abellerol papirroi[2] (nombre cientifico Merops persicus (Pallas, 1773)[3]) ye una especie d'au d'a orden d'os Coraciiformes y familia Meropidae que se reproduz en o norte d'Africa y l'Orient Meyo dende l'este de Turquía dica Cazaquistán y India. Cheneralment ye fuertement migratoria, fendo hibernada en Africa tropical, encara que cualques poblacions se reproducen y viven tot l'anyo en o Sahel.
