Mier[2] ye un llugar y una parroquia del conceyu asturianu d'El Valle Altu de Peñamellera. Abarca 17,84 km²[3] del cuadrante suroriental del conceyu, qu'inclúin La Peña Vigueras, que ye, colos sos 1.318 m d'altor, el más altu del conceyu. Los sos 55 habitantes (2024)[4] viven nel pueblu de Mier, que ta dividíu pol ríu Cares en dos barrios: Mier d'Acá y Mier d'Allá.
