Dinas fawr a phrif borthladd De Corea yw Busan. Dyma'r ail ddinas fwyaf poblog yn Ne Corea, ar ôl y brifddinas Seoul, gyda phoblogaeth o 3,349,016 o drigolion yn ôl Cyfrifiad 2020.[1] Mae'n ddinas fetropolitan hunanweinyddedig gyda safle talaith. Dyma ganolfan economaidd, ddiwylliannol ac addysgol de-ddwyrain De Corea, a rhan o ardal ddiwydiannol fwyaf y wlad.

Lleolir Busan ar arfordir pen de-ddwyreiniol Penrhyn Corea, 320 km o Seoul. Mae'n edrych dros Gulfor Corea yn wynebu Môr Japan ac ynys Japaneaidd Tsushima, sydd tua 50 km i ffwrdd.

Yn 2014, cafodd Busan ei chynnwys yn Rhwydwaith Dinasoedd Creadigol UNESCO fel "Dinas Ffilm".[2] Mae Gŵyl Ffilm Ryngwladol wedi cael ei chynnal yno ers 1996.
