Ar 6 Rhagfyr 2010, rhewodd PostFinance gyfrif personol Julian Assange, sefydlwr a phrif olygydd WikiLeaks, ar "technicality". Roedd hyn yn sgîl cyhoeddi'r dogfennau "Cablegate" gan WikiLeaks a chredir gan lawer y digwyddodd hynny dan bwysau gwleidyddol gan yr Unol Daleithiau i geisio atal WikiLeaks.[1] Mewn ymateb, cafwyd ymosodiad DDoS ar wefan PostFinance gan Operation Avenge Assange gan ei thynnu i lawr dros dro.[2]
