Former District in Fars, Iran
Khafr District (Persian : بخش خفر ) is a former administrative division of Jahrom County , Fars province, Iran . Its capital was the city of Bab Anar .[ 3]
History
In 2019, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Khafr County .[ 4]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 42,199 in 10,550 households.[ 5] The following census in 2011 counted 40,535 people in 11,860 households.[ 6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 42,263 inhabitants in 13,590 households.[ 2]
