Taqi Kashi

Taqi Kashi (Persian: تقی کاشی: died after 1608) was a 16th and 17th century scholar in Safavid Iran, who in 1577/78 or 1585 composed the Kholasat al-ash'ar va zobdat al-afkar ("Summary of verses and choice thoughts"), a collection of biographies of important Persian poets.^[1][2]
