Prospect Hummer — Animal Collective-ის პირველი EP დისკი, გამოცემული 2005 წლის მაისში. ეს იყო ჯგუფის პირველი თანამშრომლობა ვაშტი ბანიანთან.

ჩაწერა

2004 წლის ევროპული ტურნეს დროს ედინბურგში ჯგუფმა გაიცნო ბრიტანელი ფოლკის მომღერალი ვაშტი ბანიანი. საბოლოოდ ბანიანმა ჩაწერა ვოკალი ყველა სიმღერისთვის, Baleen Sample-ის გარდა. Avey Tare, Panda Bear და Deakin მთელი EP-ის ჩაწერაში მონაწილეობდნენ. Geologist-ი კი, რომელიც ვერ წავიდა ტურნეზე სამსახურის გამო, მხოლოდ Baleen Sample-ზეა. პირველი ორი სიმღერა არის ნარჩენები Sung Tongs-ის სესიებიდან, თავიდან ჩაწერილი ბანიანთან ერთად. სამი სიმღერის ჩასაწერად მათ სამი დღე ჰქონდათ.[8]
