James Richardson Comer Jr. (ur. 19 sierpnia 1972 w Carthage)[1] – amerykański polityk i rolnik, członek Partii Republikańskiej. Od 2016 roku zasiada w Izbie Reprezentantów Stanów Zjednoczonych, reprezentując 1. okręg wyborczy Kentucky[2].
Życiorys
James Comer urodził się w Carthage w Tennessee, a wychował w Kentucky. Ukończył studia licencjackie z rolnictwa na Western Kentucky University[1].
Kariera polityczna
W latach 2001-2012 zasiadał w Izbie Reprezentantów Kentucky. W latach 2012-2016 pełnił funkcję Komisarza ds. Rolnictwa stanu Kentucky. W 2016 roku wygrał wybory uzupełniające do Izby Reprezentantów USA, zastępując Eda Whitfielda[2].
Życie prywatne
Jest żonaty z T.J. Comer. Mają troje dzieci[2].
