Document Object Model
Document Object Model (DOM) është një ndër-platformë dhe një konventë e pavarur nga gjuhët për përfaqësimin dhe bashkëveprimin me objektet në dokumentet HTML, XHTML, XML[1]. Nyjet e çdo dokument janë organizuar në një strukturë pemë, e quajtur si pema DOM. Objektet në DOM mund të adresohet dhe manipulohen duke përdorur metoda mbi objektet. Ndërfaqja publike e DOM është specifikuar në ndërfaqen për programimin e aplikacioneve (API) të saj.
