Navigimi

Një sistem navigimi në një cisternë nafte.

Navigimi[1] është një fushë studimi që fokusohet në procesin e monitorimit dhe kontrollit të lëvizjes së një automjeti nga një vend në tjetrin.[2] Fusha e navigimit përfshin katër kategori të përgjithshme: navigim tokësor,[3] navigim detar, navigim aeronautik dhe navigacion hapësinor.[1]

Është gjithashtu termi i artit që përdoret për njohuritë e specializuara të përdorura nga naviguesitpër të kryer detyrat e navigimit. Të gjitha teknikat e navigimitpërfshijnë gjetjen e pozicionit të navigatorit në krahasim me vendndodhjet ose modelet e njohura.

Navigimi, në një kuptim më të gjerë, mund t'i referohet çdo aftësie ose studimi që përfshin përcaktimin e pozicionit dhe drejtimit. Në këtë kuptim, navigimi përfshin orientimin dhe navigimin e këmbësorëve.[1]
