Ang pinawa[1][2] (pagbigkas: pi•na•wà) ay binalatang butil ng palay ngunit hindi ito pinaputi.[3] Makunat-kunat at may bahagyang lasang nuwes ang pinawa at higit na masustansiya kaysa sa puting bigas, subalit higit na madali itong mapanis dahil ang darak (kasama ang binhi) na tinatanggal sa puting bigas ay naglalaman ng fats na napapanis.[4] Alinmang bigas, kasama rito ang mahabang-butil, maikling-butil, o malagkit ay maaaring kaining pinawa. Bagaman marami ang naniniwala na lamang sa sustansiya ang pinawa kaysa sa puting bigas, may pag-aalinlangan sa nutrisyon nito dahil sa antas ng arsenic ng pinawa.[5][6][7][8][9]
