Ferraz

O ferraz[1] u ferrada[1][nota 1] ye o pozal que s'emplega ta recullir a leit cuan se muye os animals de manera manual, metendo-lo debaixo d'o braguero, ta que cuan picha la teta en muyir-la o churro i caiga en l'interior.

O ferraz tipico ye feito con adogas de fusta chuntas con cellos (a'l modo como os tonels), y tiene l'ansa feita de cuerda. Dende o sieglo XIX os ferraces tradicionals s'han diu fendo cada vegada menos frecuents, estando substituius por pozals de metal en primeras, y de plastico dimpués, mas hichienicos y fácils de lavar.

En l'actualidat, os animals de producción comercial de leit viven estabulaus, y o proceso de muyida ye mecanizau, por o que o ferraz ye un utensilio muit desusau.
