Action Max — მესამე თაობის სახლის ვიდეო თამაშების კონსოლი, გამოცემული სათამაშოების მწარმოებელი ამერიკული კომპანია Worlds of Wonder-ის მიერ 1987 წელს.[1] Action Max-ის ერთ-ერთი მთავარი განმასხვავებელი ნიშანი სხვა კონსოლებისგან იყო, ის რომ ის სათამაშო კარტრიჯის ნაცვლად გამოიყენებდა VHS ვიდეო კასეტას. აშშ-ის გარეთ გამოიცა შეზღუდული რაოდენობით.
კონსოლზე VHS ვიდეო კასეტის გასაშვებად აუცილებელი იყო ვიდეომაგნიტაფონის ქონაც, რადგანაც თავად კონსოლს არ ჰქონდა ვიდეო კასეტის ჩასადები ბუდე და ტელევიზორს უკავშირდებოდა ვიდეომაგნიტაფონით.[2] მას არ გააჩნდა ჯოისტიკის ან გეიმპადის მსგავსი შეყვანის მოწყობილობა და ძირითად კონტროლერად გამოიყენებდა სინათლის პისტოლეტს. ის მოიხმარდა HD401010-ის ცენტრალურ პროცესორს.
კონსოლის თამაშების ბიბლიოთეკა მეტად ღარიბი აღმოჩნდა, საერთო ჯამში გამოვიდა 5 ერთეული: „38 Ambush Alley“, „Blue Thunder“, „Hydrosub: 2021“, „The Rescue of Pops Ghostly“, „Sonic Fury“, რომელთაგანაც ყველა შუტერის ჟანრის იყო და ყველას ერთნაირი გეიმპლეი ახასიათებდა. ამ ფაქტმა განაპირობა მისი ბაზარზე წარუმატებლობა.[3] გამოსვლიდან ერთი წლის შემდეგ კომპანია Worlds of Wonder გაკოტრდა.
