Annot is een gemeente in het Franse departement Alpes-de-Haute-Provence in de regio Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur en maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Castellane. De gemeente telde 1.009 inwoners op 1 januari 2023.[1] Deze inwoners worden Annotains genoemd.
Geschiedenis
Annot was de hoofdplaats van het gelijknamige kanton tot het op 22 maart 2015 werd opgeheven en de gemeente werd opgenomen in het kanton Castellane.
Geografie
De oppervlakte van Annot bedraagt 29,8 vierkante kilometer. Op 1 januari 2023 was de bevolkingsdichtheid 33,9 inwoners per km². De onderstaande kaart toont de ligging van Annot met de belangrijkste infrastructuur en aangrenzende gemeenten.
In de gemeente ligt spoorwegstation Annot aan de spoorlijn Nice - Digne-les-Bains.
