Jouswerd (Fries: Jouswert) is een buurtschap in de gemeente Súdwest-Fryslân, in de Nederlandse provincie Friesland. Jouswerd ligt tussen Blauwhuis en Wolsum aan de Jouswerderdyk en bestaat uit een aantal boerderijen en huizen.

Ten zuiden van Jouswerd ligt de Blauwhuister Opvaart. Ten westen van Jouswerd ligt het streekje Aaksens.

Jouswerd is ontstaan op een terp. De plaatsnaam zou verwijzen naar een bewoonde hoogte van de persoon Jou(we). De plaats werd in 1511 vermeld als Jowswerd en Jouswird, in 1718 als Jouwsert en in 1861 als Jauwserd.
