Windows 98 (emri i plotë Microsoft Windows 98®, emri i koduar Memphis) është një sistem operativ grafik i lëshuar në 25 qershor 1998 nga Microsoft.

Sistemi i ri operativ në thelb ishte thjesht një sistem operativ i përmirësuar Windows 95, ishte një hibrid 16/32 bit. Veçoritë e reja përfshijnë mbështetje më të mirë AGP dhe drejtues më funksionalë USB. Sistemi i skedarëve FAT32 u prezantua gjithashtu për të mbështetur disqet e ngurtë më të mëdhenj se 2 GB. Windows 98 Second Edition

Windows 98 Edition Second (Windows 98 SE) - një version i modifikuar i Windows 98 i lëshuar në maj 5 të 1999 me një numër shumë më të vogël "vrimash".
