MMPIP je lek koji se koristi u naučnim istraživanjima. On deluje kao selektivni antagonist za podtip metabotropnog glutamatnog receptora mGluR7.[1] Ovaj podtip receptora učestvuje u responsu na kokain u mozgu.[2]
