Receptor ukusa tip 2 član 7 je protein koji je kod ljudi kodiran TAS2R7 genom.[1][2][3]
Proizvod ovog gena pripada familiji potencijalnih receptora ukusa koji su članovi superfamilije G protein spregnutih receptora. Ovi proteini su specifično izraženi u ćelijama ukusa jezika i epitela nepca. Oni su organizovani u genomu u klustere i genetički su povezani u lokuse koji utiču na percipciju gorkog ukusa kod miševa i ljudi.[3]
